A gentle daily writing challenge with not only words, but sustainable practice and well-being in our sights.
Commit to writing 7 days a week, 5 days a week or the number that suits your schedule and current life circumstances — 5 minutes or 5 hours a day, it all counts — what matters is that you show up and meet your stated commitment for the 21 day cycle to write on a certain number of days each week.
The writing challenge for writers writing-in-the-middle-of-big-old-life, 21 Days of Sustainable Writing takes a holistic approach to practice.
Writing well involves arriving at the page with consistency, but in order to do this and write with depth we must simultaneously manage our well-being.
Challenge participants receive a tracking tool to track and share progress across multiple dimensions. We consider minutes at the page, movement, mood and life circumstances to develop a clear-eyed view of our writing habits and strengthen our muscles of self-compassion and persistence, all while receiving accountability support across a 21 day cycle
The March challenge will run from Monday 8th March. Participation is free for members of The Well Writers’ Collective.
Start 2021 off on the right foot. A little each day adds up to a lot, and writing with someone in your corner delivers a certain kind of magic!
