The below is a draft schedule only, but offers a sense of what you can expect from The Well Academic retreat.

Monday

4:30-5:30 pm:  Check-in, orient yourself and explore the venue, relax and make a cuppa

5:30-6:30 pm: Welcome: introductions, discussion of projects, discussion of retreat structure, outlining of research underpinnings

6:30-7:00 pm: Prep for the week// writing // free time  

7:00-8:30 pm: Dinner

8:30-9:00 pm: Monday evening discussion session with Willo.

Tuesday

6:00-8:00 am: Writing for early risers// free time: walk, meditate etc.,

8:00-9:00 am: Yoga

9:00-9:45 am: Breakfast

10:00-11:30 am: Day 1 workshop: Mindful Research with Dr Michelle Jamieson

11:30-12:00: Tuesday morning discussion session with Willo: setting day 1 intentions

12:00-1:00 pm: Morning writing session – groups or solo

1:00-2:00 pm: Lunch

2:00-3:00 pm: Local bush-walk (TBC)

3:00-6:00 pm: Afternoon writing session// free time: bush-walk, swim, meditate, massage (optional, for additional fee)

6:00-7:00 pm: Tuesday evening check-in and discussion: reflecting and reframing, setting Wednesday goals

7:00- 8:30 pm: Dinner

8:30-9:00 pm: Yoga Nidra (body scanning relaxation exercise).

Wednesday

6:00-8:00 am: Writing for early risers// free time: walk, meditate etc.,

8:00-9:00 am: Yoga

9:00-9:45 am: Breakfast

10:00-11:00 am: Wednesday morning discussion: setting day 2 intentions

11:00 am – 1:00 pm: Morning writing session – groups or solo

1:00-2:00 pm: Lunch

2:00-3:00 pm: Day 2 Workshop – Walking Meditation with Dr Michelle Jamieson

3:00-6:00 pm: Afternoon writing session// free time: bush-walk, swim, meditate, massage (optional, for additional fee)

6:00-7:00 pm: Wednesday evening check-in and discussion: reflecting and reframing, setting day 3 goals

7:00-8:30 pm: Dinner

8:30-9:00 pm: Yoga Nidra (body scanning relaxation exercise).

Thursday

6:00-8:00 am: Writing for early risers// free time: walk, meditate etc.,

8:00-9:00 am: Yoga

9:00-9:45 am: Breakfast

10:00-11:00 am: Thursday morning discussion: framing progress, setting intentions for our final full day

11:00 am – 1:00 pm: Morning writing session-groups or solo

1:00-2:00 pm: Lunch

2:00-3:00 pm: Walk (TBC)

3:00-6:00 pm: Afternoon writing session// free time: bush-walk, swim, meditate, massage (optional extra)

6:00-7:00 pm: Thursday evening check-in and disucssion: reflecting on project progress, plans for coming days and weeks

7:00-8:30 pm: Dinner

8:30-9:00 pm: Yoga Nidra (body scanning relaxation exercise) (TBC).

Friday

6:00-8:00 am: Writing for early risers// free time: walk, meditate etc.,

8:00-9:00 am: Yoga

9:00-9:45 am: Breakfast

10:30 am: Check out (by 11:00)

10:30 am – 2:00 pm: Optional offsite coffee//lunch//writing in Wentworth Falls. Wrap-up and farewells.
